The BDA Specialist group for Sports Dietitians DISEN (Dietitians in Sport and Exercise Nutrition) has now been re-named and re-branded as ''Sports Dietitians UK'.

The new website and logo will be launched to members at the Sports Dietitians UK AGM on 29th April 2009 at the BOA Northwick Park Hospital, London. Outgoing Chair Person Lorna Hall RD, said:

This is the culmination of 2 years work in association with our members. As one of the largest sports Dietitians groups in the worldand with the advent of the 2012 London Olympics and 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, we felt our new name better reflected the role of ourmembers in sports nutrition and the new look website would allow members andthe general public access to high quality information on all aspects of sports nutrition.
